The IM1601 is a 3-pin device that provides a single digital line to read out a digital data stream accurately representing the PIR signal on a pyroceramic sensor element, including ambient temperature information obtained from an onboard temperature sensor. Data can be accessed either by using force read commands, or by relying on a chip-driven interrupt signal.
